Aaron Impey is a dedicated GP with broad interests across the breadth of general practice.
Aaron completed his Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from Monash University in 2016, and further extended his skills and knowledge by completing a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy. Having undertaken extensive training in a range of disciplines across multiple hospitals and medical centres, Aaron brings dynamic skills and knowledge to his work in general practice.
An enthusiastic tennis player, SCUBA diver, and hiker, Aaron’s passion for health and fitness doesn’t stop with medicine, and he can generally be found exploring the outdoors in his spare time.

Libby Williams is a dedicated nurse with a passion for supporting patients with chronic conditions.
Libby completed her Bachelor of Health Science–Nursing from Victoria University in 2000, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition in 2017. A certified Health and Wellness Coach with dynamic experience, she supplements her role in Eastbound’s Care Coordination Clinic by supporting patients as both a telephone health coach and facilitator of Diabetes Victoria’s LIFE! Program.
In her spare time, Libby enjoys hiking, cycling, swimming, camping, and getting creative in the kitchen. Her passion for fitness and the great outdoors has firmly rubbed off on her three teenage daughters, who excel at rowing, cycling, and diving.
Libby grew up in Australia, spent her teenage years in Hong Kong, and worked in the UK for four years with her partner before returning down under.
Nurse Manager
Bisa Romic is an experienced nurse with a keen interest in preventative health. Adopting a holistic approach to care, she is passionate about creating strong nurse-patient relationships that nurture and support long-term emotional, physical, and mental health.
Bisa’s passion for healthcare encouraged her to complete a Master of Nursing Science from the University of Melbourne. She honed her skills in emergency and surgical nursing, before moving into general practice in 2018. With a passionate interest in metabolic health, Bisa brings experience, passion, knowledge, and sensitivity to her current role as nurse manager. Bisa is also an endorsed nurse immuniser.
Bisa lives locally with her partner and two children. She spends her spare time travelling, reading theological history and enjoys a game of Pickleball.
Before realising her passion for healthcare, Bisa studied political science. We’re convinced that politics’ loss is healthcare’s gain!
Second in Charge (2IC)
Bianca Martell is a superstar member of Eastbound’s management team. Equipped with dynamic leadership skills, she ensures that the clinic runs smoothly on even the busiest days.
Initially working in sales and customer service, Bianca joined Eastbound Medical Clinic in 2020 as a receptionist. Her aptitude for leadership quickly secured her promotion first to Senior Receptionist and next to Acting Practice Manager in a maternity cover position. Bianca’s success as Acting Practice Manager was acknowledged with her promotion to Second in Charge (2IC) in 2023.
Outside of work, Bianca is a super mum to her four-year-old son, Mursal. She also has a passion for health and wellness.

Dr Genevieve Shandler is a warm and caring GP who loves getting to know her patients. She graduated with her medical degree from Monash University in 2015 and completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2016. While working as a Junior Doctor in hospitals across Victoria, Genevieve gained experience in a variety of specialties including emergency medicine, women’s health, paediatrics, geriatrics, and psychiatry. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family. She also makes valiant attempts to improve her strength and flexibility through Pilates.

Credentialled Diabetes Educator

Trish has over 20 years’ experience in acute care nursing working at major teaching hospitals in Australia and St Thomas in the UK across many disciplines. She has a strong clinical background, particularly in cardiology, cardiothoracic, and plastics.
She is a passionate, highly qualified Diabetes Nurse Educator with broad experience and knowledge obtained while working at both the Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospital, Diabetes Education Services.
She delivers comprehensive Diabetes care and education for people with Type 1, Type 2, Steroid Induced, and Type 3 Diabetes, Pre-Pregnancy planning and Pump therapy, Continuous Glucose monitoring, Bolus Calculator and insulin titration.
Trish enjoys supporting and encouraging people to meet their health goals to achieve self-management of their diabetes and improvement quality of life.
Trish consults at Eastbound all day on Fridays.

Saveena graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2008 and has had extensive experience as a country GP in South Australia and Victoria. She is also a Board-Certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner, a part time Medical Educator with EV GP training, and a RACGP Examiner. In 2020, during the pandemic, life as she knew it changed when Saveena became a mother. She still tries to find time to do things she loves – hiking, dining out, and travelling with the support of her husband. She speaks English, Malay and Tamil.

Dr Aaron Rhodes graduated from the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2016 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery. As a junior doctor, he completed several terms in paediatrics, emergency medicine, cardiology, nephrology, and endocrinology through the Monash Health network. More recently, he has completed training through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. In his free time, Aaron can be found at the beach or on day hikes throughout regional Victoria. He shares his time with his partner and beloved British Bulldog, Philomena.

Practice Manager

A natural and competent leader, Melanie is the glue that holds Eastbound together!
Melanie joined Eastbound Medical Clinic in 2013 as a medical receptionist. She became the Assistant Practice Manager in 2018, immediately demonstrating the dedication and proficiency that saw her confidently step into the role of Practice Manager in 2020.
Melanie studied at Monash University and completed a Bachelor of Health Science in 2016, majoring in public health and health promotion. In 2022, she supplemented her knowledge by completing a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management at RMIT.
In her private time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Sean, and her son, Jordan. She also has a passion for make-up and all things beauty.
Melanie insists that, despite his often naughty behaviour, her miniature Groodle, Blaze, is in fact a ‘very good boy’.
Business Manager

Mark is Eastbound’s “numbers’ guy”, always ready to interpret the data that makes the rest of us glassy-eyed!
After completing a BSc (Psychology) at Melbourne University, Mark worked in the Banking sector. Proving his aptitude by successfully managing a large team and business in the asset finance sector, he eventually landed a role as a Director at Macquarie Bank.
Mark joined Eastbound Clinic as a part-time consultant focused on Business Improvement in August 2017, and was appointed Business Manager in June 2018.
Mark and his wife Suzanne own a Jewellery shop in the city and enjoy travelling. They have three grown-up children and live in the area.
Although he grew up in Melbourne, Mark was born in Tanzania.
